Zoom feature

TheZoom featureallows you to enlargethe videoimage and pan

throughthe enlarged image during play back from the HDD or from

thetime shift buffer.

1Duringplayback, press PAUSE9at the positionwhere you

wantto enlarge the picture.

PYouwill see a still picture.

2Press SYSTEMMENU .

PThe'System Menu' appears.

3Press Cinline 'Toolbar' to select'Options'.

4Press Btoselect 'Zoom' and confirmwith C.

POnthe screen arrows appears to indicate the directions. If

neccessaryswitch on theinfo barwith INFO.

5Selectwith D,C,A,Bthe area you want to enlarge.

6Endwith the red function button.

PPlayback starts automatically

The media browser

Eachrecording stored on the HDD is displayed in the media browser

withan index picture. A actual recording of a TV show in the time shift

bufferis alsodisplayed here.

Pleaseobserve thattitle/chapter editing is onlypossible toa certain

degreewith such recordings.

Titleediting includes:

-change

-delete

-archive

-lock (childlock)

-protect (againstautomatic deletion)

Titlesin the Time shift Buffer marked for storage on the HDD, can

onlybe lockedor deleted.

Symbols in the 'Media Browser'

If youcall up the Media Browser with the BROWSER HDD button,

followingsymbols can appear in the infobar at the top of the screen:

'P' This title was marked in the Time Shift Buffer for the storage on

theHDD. This title can only be deleted or locked (child lock)

'E' This title has been played once (has been 'watched'). If there is no

storagecapacity free onthe HDDsuch 'watched'titles will be

deletedautomatically. You canchange thesesetting in the title edit

menu( EDIT button, blue button, EDITbutton )

Titlesthat were not playedback, will have no symbol.

'F' The title is protected againstediting and deleting. If the title is not

protected,no symbol willbe shown.

'' Child lock is activated. The index picture is switched off. Playback

startsonly if theright PINcode was entered.By default'0000' is

definedas the PIN code. In the section 'Changing the PIN code' in

chapter'Access control (Child Lock)' you will find how you can

changethis code.

'Q' Themarked titleswill be stored(archived) on aDVD+RW/+R.
