CanI usethe'Phono' input on myamplifier?
Thissocket (input) onthe amplifieris designedonly for arecord player
withoutpreamplifiers. Do notuse thisinput forconnecting the DVD
recorder.
TheDVD recorderor theamplifier may be damaged as a result.
Connecting audio devices to the digitalaudio sockets
Atthe back of the DVD recorder there are two digital audio output
sockets OPTICALOUT for an optical cable and COAX OUT for a
coaxialcable (Cinch cable).
Thesecan be used to connect the following:
•)an A/V receiver or an A/V amplifier with a digital
multichannelsound decoder
•)a receiverwith twochanneldigital stereo (PCM)
Digitalmulti-channel sound
Digitalmulti-channel sound offers the best possible sound quality. You
willneed amulti-channel A/V receiveror amplifierthat supports atleast
oneof the audio formats of the DVD recorder (MPEG2 and Dolby
Digital).
Consultthe operatinginstructions for your receiverto findout which
audioformats it supports.

DVDrecorder. The audio format of the DVD disc is displayed in the
