4.7 Changing the settings of multiple L AN Docking Stations
The Administration Tool allows for q uick reconfiguration of the most i mportant settings of o ne
or multiple LAN Dock ing Stations.
Configure FTP settings, administration password, DHCP activation and automatic file upload
settings in the global settings form, which is located below the Administration Tool’s main pane.
Select the LAN Doc king Stations you want to update .
Click the SUBMIT CH ANGES button in the botto m right corner. An overview of the setti ngs
is displayed. These sett ings will be sent to the LAN Doc king Stations after confir mation by
clicking the OK butto n. The result of the operation of e ach LAN Docking Station i s shown in
a result window. Clicking the C ANCEL button will close t he overview, but will keep the new
settings stored for late r submission. Upon clicki ng the UNDO CHANGES but ton, any stored
settings will be delet ed.
D Note: Settings can onl y be uploaded to LAN Dockin g Stations that are currently o nline.
4.8 Changing the settings of a single LA N Docking Station
Many of the settings of the L AN Docking Station can b e changed directly in the data re cord in
the Administration Tool’s main pane . These are:
A flag indicates wether th e LAN Docking Station is con figured via a DHCP server (or not) in
the DHCP column.
A flag indicates if the L AN Docking Station connec ts to an FTP or an SFTP serve r (for file
upload) in the USE SFTP col umn.
A flag indicates if the file upload settings of the LAN Docking Station are taken from the Digital
Pocket Memo or from the LAN Docking Station itself in the USE DPM UPLOAD SETTINGS column.
A flag indicates if all files (or EO L dictation files only) get upload ed to the FTP/SFTP server by
the LAN Docking Sta tion in the UPLOAD ALL column. For t his setting to take eect, t he LAN
Docking Station has to b e in charge of the file upload setti ngs!
A flag indicates wheter t he dictation files will be dele ted from the Digital Pocket Memo af ter
they were uploaded to the FTP/ SFTP server by the LAN Do cking Station in the DELETE
UPLOADED column. For this se tting to take eect, the L AN Docking Station has to be i n charge
of the file upload setting s!
