Introduction of DSP adjustments

Youcan use this unit to control multi-channel
processor(DEQ-P8000), which is sold sepa-
rately.

#Whenplaying discs recorded with more than
96kHz sampling frequency, you cannot use audio
functions.Also, equalizer curve setting, Position,
AutoEQ and Auto TA will be canceled.
#Whenplaying discs recorded with more than
96kHz sampling frequency, audio is outputted
fromfront speakers only.
#Whenselecting FM as the source, you cannot
switchto Source Level Adjuster.
#Whenplaying other than the DVD disc, you
cannotswitch to Dynamic Range Control.
#Whenneither Front-L nor Front-R is selected
inPosition, you cannot switch to
TimeAlignment.
#Whenboth the center speaker and the rear
speakerare set to OFF in the speaker setting, you
cannotswitch to Dolby Pro Logic II.
2 TouchESC to return to the ordinary dis-
play.
#Toreturn to the previous display, touch Back.

Using the position selector

Oneway to assure a more natural sound is to
accuratelyposition the stereo image, putting
youright in the center of the sound field. The
positionselector function letsyou automati-
callyadjust the speaker output levels and in-
sertsa delay time to match the number and
positionof occupied seats. When used in con-
junctionwith the SFC, the feature will make
thesound image more natural and offer a pa-
noramicsound that envelops you.

2 Touchc/d/a/bto select a listening po-
sition.
Touchone of these, c/d/a/b, to select a lis-
teningposition as listed in the table.
