Using the high pass filter
Whenyou do not want low sounds from the
subwooferoutput frequency range to play
fromthe front or rear speakers, turn on the
HPF(high pass filter). Only frequencies higher
thanthose in the selected range are output
fromthe front or rear speakers.
1 TouchHigh Pass Filter on the audio
functionmenu.
2 Touchdnext to High Pass Filter to turn
highpass filter on.
#Toturn high pass filter off, touch c.
3 Touchcor dnext to Frequency to se-
lectcut-off frequency.
Eachtime you touch cor dselects cut-off fre-
quenciesin the following order:
50Hz63Hz80Hz100Hz125Hz
Onlyfrequencies higher than those in the se-
lectedrange are output from the front or rear
speakers.
Adjusting source levels
SLA(source level adjustment) lets you adjust
thevolume level of each source to prevent ra-
dicalchanges in volume when switching be-
tweensources.
!Settingsare based on the FM volume level,
whichremains unchanged.
1 Comparethe FM volume level with the
levelof the source you wish to adjust.
2 TouchSource Level Adjuster on the
audiofunction menu.
3 Touchcor dto adjust the source vo-
lume.
Eachtime you touch cor dit increases or de-
creasesthe source volume.
+4to 4is displayed as the source volume is
increasedor decreased.

!TheAM volume level can also be adjusted
withsource level adjustments.
!VideoCD, CD, compressed audio and DivX
areset to the same source level adjustment
volumeautomatically.
!iPodand USB storage device are set to the
samesource level adjustment volume auto-
matically.
