Operating the DVD menu
SomeDVDs allow you to select from the disc
contentsusing a menu.
!Youcan display the menu by touching
Menuor Top Menu while a disc is playing.
Touchingeither of these keys again lets you
startplayback from the location selected
fromthe menu. For details, refer to the in-
structionsprovided with the disc.

Using DVD menu direct touch

control

Thisfunction allows you to operate the DVD
menuby touching the menu item directly.
%Touchthe desired menu item on the
DVDmenu directly.
#Dependingon the contents of DVD discs, this
functionmay not work properly. In this case,
usingtouch panel keys operate the DVD menu.

Using the touch panel keys

1 Touch todisplay touch panel keys
tooperate the DVD menu.
#Whenthe touch panel keys are not displayed,
youcan display them by touching the screen.
#Toswitch to the DVD menu direct touch con-
trol,touch Touch.
2 Toucha,b,cor dto select the desired
menuitem.
3 Touch .
Playbackstarts from the selected menu item.
#Theway to display the menu differs depending
onthe disc.
Resume playback (Bookmark)
TheBookmark function lets you resume play-
backfrom a selected scene the next time the
discis loaded.
%Duringplayback, touch Bookmark at
thepoint you want to resume playback
nexttime.
Theselected scene will be bookmarked so that
playbackresumes from that point next time.
#Toclear the bookmark on a disc, keep touch-
ingBookmark during playback.
#Youcan also bookmark a disc by pressing and
holdinghat the point you want to bookmark.
Nexttime you load the disc, playback will resume
fromthe bookmarked point. Note that you can
onlybookmark one disc using this method. To
clearthe bookmark on a disc, press h.
#Youcan bookmark up to six discs including
thedisc that is bookmarked using h.
#Theoldest bookmark is replaced by the new
one.
CM skip/CM back
Thisfunction skips a reproduced image for a
specifiedtime. If the currently playing disc
containscommercials, it is possible to skip
them.
