Onboard/CNR LAN selection

Use the item to enable or disable the onboard or external CNR LAN device. Settings:Auto, Onboard and Ext. CNR.

IDEHDDBlockMode

This allows your hard disk controller to use the fast block mode to transfer data to and from the hard disk drive. Block mode is also called block transfer, multiple commands or multiple sector read/write. Enabled enables IDE controller to use block mode; Disabled allows the controller to use standard mode.

FloppyController

The item is used to enable or disable the onboard Floppy controller. Select Enabled when you have installed a floppy disk drive and want to use it.

Serial Port A/B

The items specify the base I/O port address and IRQ for the onboard Serial Port A (COM A)/Serial Port B (COM B). Selecting Auto allows BIOS to automati- cally determine the correct base I/O port address. Settings: Disabled, 3F8/ IRQ4, 2F8/IRQ3, 3E8/IRQ4, 2E8/IRQ3 and Auto.

Serial Port B Mode

The field allows you to specify the operation mode for serial port “COM B”. Settings are:

IrDA :

IrDA-compliant Serial Infrared Port

ASKIR :

Amplitude Shift Keyed Infrared Port

Normal:

RS-232C Serial Port

RxD,TxDActive

The item determines the active of RxD, TxD. Settings are “Hi, Hi”, “Hi, Lo”, “Lo, Hi” and “Lo, Lo”.

IR Transmission Delay

The field enables or disables IR transmission delay function. Settings: En-
