4)The C4630 SE is factory-programmed for the following C4630 SE Main Keypad functions:

P R E S S any S O U R C E Button: Turns the local zone ON with that source.

• P R E S S -AND -HO L D any S O U R C E

Button: Activates PARTY MODE with that source for all zones.

• P R E S S the V O L U M E U P /D O W N

Buttons: Raise and lower the volume in the local zone.

• P R E S S the M U T E Button: Mutes/un-Mute the local zone.

• P R E S S -A ND -H O L D the M U T E Button: Mutes/un-Mutes all zones designated for PARTY MODE.

• P R E S S the Z O N E OFF Button: Turns the local zone OFF.

• P R E S S -A ND -H O L D the Z O N E OFF Button: Turns all zones designated for PARTY MODE OFF.

5) A REPEAT UNTIL BUTTON IS RELEASED command in the PRESS level will defeat the PRESS-AND-HOLDlevel for that button.

Building Macros

Individual keypad button macros are programmed in the

MACRO EDITOR window. To open MACRO EDITOR:

1.Open the DEVICE screen (see Figure 41, on page 31).

2.If the system has more than one C4630 SE, use the DEVICE SELECTOR (see Figure 41) to select the one you want to program. The Zone 1 programming screen for that C4630 SE will appear (see Figure 42).

The Zone 1 programming screen will include one

set of VOLUME UP/DOWN, MUTE and ZONE OFF but- tons and four sets of ZONE SOURCE CONTROL and NUMERIC KEYPAD buttons (one for each source). The source names you selected on the SOURCE SETUP screen (see Figure 39, on page 30) will appear on the four SOURCE buttons.

3.Right-click on the button you want to create or modify a macro for.

If the button already has been programmed with a macro (a MACRO INDICATOR appears on the button) select EDIT MACRO.

If the button has not been programmed with a macro (no MACRO INDICATOR appears on the button) select CREATE MACRO. The MACRO EDITOR screen will appear. See Figure 43, on page 33.
