Using the Jog Dial™

Your CLIÉ handheld is equipped with a Jog Dial™, which allows you to perform all major operations without the stylus. You can operate your CLIÉ handheld using the Jog Dial™ with just one hand.

The icon of any application that supports Jog Dial™ operations is marked with the Jog Dial™ symbol

Rotating the Jog Dial™

Rotate the Jog Dial™ to select various items in succession or to select an application to start. The operations you can perform by rotating the Jog Dial™ differ depending on the application you are using. For details, refer to the instructions for each application.

Pressing the Jog Dial™
