Deleting an event

 

 

 

 

You can delete events in the Date Book.

 

Operating

To delete an event, proceed as follows:

The Start Time and the description are in a grey box.

 

 

Press the Date Book button on the front panel.

 

 

 

The Date Book starts up.

Select the description of the event you want to delete.

Tap on the date in the left corner of your screen.

 

 

 

 

 

The Record menu opens.

Select Delete Event.

 

 

 

The Delete Event dialog box opens. You have the option of saving an archive copy on your PC or not.

Tap OK.

 

 

 

The event is deleted.

 

Alternatively:

1Press the Date Book button on the front panel. The Date Book starts up.

2Tap the event you want to delete.

3Tap Details.

The Event Details dialog box appears.

4Tap Delete.

The Delete Event dialog box appears.

5Tap OK.

If you select Save Archive Copy On PC, the deleted data from your CLIÉ handheld is saved to the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software during the ￿next HotSync®.

If you delete the start and end times of recurring events, all the related events that are defined in conjunction with the recurring event will be deleted. When you delete the event with the Delete Event command, you can specify whether a single event is to be deleted as an exception, or all of therelated events are to be deleted.
