Using your CLIÉ handheld

To display private records, proceed as follows:

1In step 2 above, select Show Records.

If you have a password, the Show Records screen appears.

2Enter the password and then tap OK.

Locking your CLIÉ handheld

You can lock your CLIÉ handheld wi th a password to protect information .

To lock your CLIÉ handheld, proceed as follows:

1Back up the data on your CL IÉ handheld using a HotSync® transfer (see Using HotSync® operations

(page 74)).

2Assign a password (see the previous section A ssigning a password (page 65)

3Tap th e Home icon.

4Select System from th e drop-down list in the top right-hand corner.

The System screen appears.

5Tap th e Security icon.

The Security dialog box appears.

6Tap Lock & Turn Off.

The System Lockout dialog box appears.

7Tap Off & Lock.

Your device is turned off and locked.

To access your CLIÉ handheld again, you must enter your password.
