Adjusting the frontlight

You can turn the frontlight on the screen on or off, or adjust the brightn ess according to the lighting

conditions or temperature of the environme nt in which you are using your CLIÉ handheld.

To turn the frontlight on and off, press and hold down the power bu tton for more than two seconds.

Even with the frontlight on, you may need to further adjust the bright ness on the screen.

To adjust the brightness of the frontlight level, proceed as follows:

1Tap the icon.

The adjustment control screen is displayed.

2To change the brightness level slightly, tap to the left or right.

3To change the level considerably, drag the slider to the left or right.

You can also press the scroll button to move the slider gradually.

4Tap Done.

The brightness leve l is adjusted.
