Storing and Recalling
Attenuation Levels
The OA 5000 can store two attenuationlevels for later recall. This can help
save you time and minimizemistakes. Refer to Figure 2-6.

Tostore an attenuation setting
Hpress either STORE1 or STORE2.
The current attenuation setting willbe stored. The ATTENUATION display
will blink once to indicate acceptance of t he value.
NOTE
When you press STORE1 or STORE2, the only setting saved is the
attenuation setting. The wavelength setting is not stored. If the
wavelength of your signal has changed since the attenuation setting
was stored, you will have to adjust the wavelength sett ing to ensure
accurate attenuation.
Torecall an attenuation setting
Hpress either RECALL1 or RECALL2.
The selected setting willbe recalled.
