Boot Priority

Boot Priority Options

This option sets the priority for booting the computer. Select from the following settings:

HDD -> FDD -> CD-ROM

The computer looks for bootable files in the

 

following order: HDD, diskette drive, CD-

FDD -> HDD -> CD-ROM

ROM* and LAN. (Default)

The computer looks for bootable files in the

 

following order: diskette drive, HDD, CD-

HDD -> CD-ROM -> FDD

ROM* and LAN.

The computer looks for bootable files in the

 

following order: HDD, CD-ROM*, LAN and

FDD -> CD-ROM -> HDD

diskette drive.

The computer looks for bootable files in the

 

following order: diskette drive, CD-ROM*,

CD-ROM -> HDD -> FDD

LAN and HDD.

The computer looks for bootable files in the

 

following order: CD-ROM*, LAN, HDD,

CD-ROM -> FDD -> HDD

diskette drive.

The computer looks for bootable files in the

 

following order: CD-ROM*, LAN, diskette

 

drive and HDD.

You can override the settings and manually select a boot device by pressing one of the following keys while the computer is booting:

USelects the USB diskette drive. N Selects the Network.

1 Selects the primary HDD.

CSelects the CD-ROM*.

This procedure does not affect the settings.

*In this computer, CD-ROM refers to the DVD-ROM, CD-R/RW or CD-RW/ DVD-ROM drives.

Note: PC card HDD boot is not supported.
