To select a ringer type for text/picture message alerts:

1. Press to access the main menu.

2. Highlight Settingsand press .

3. Highlight Soundsand press .

4. Highlight Ringer Typeand press .

5. Highlight Text Msg./Pic. Mailand press .

6. Highlight one of the categories listed below,and press .

Pattern 1includes 9 ringer tones.

Pattern 2includes 9 alarm tones.

Melodyincludes 9 melodies.

Downloadsincludes downloaded ringers.

Voice Memoincludes sounds you have recorded in standby

mode.

Vibratesets the vibrating alert.

Offsets no ringer.

7. Highlight your desired ringer type and press .

Tip: To select the duration of the message alert, see “Alert Notification” on page 36.

Selecting the Key ToneLength

Your phone allows you to select the length of audible tones

accompanying a key press.Longer tone length may be better for tone

recognition when dialing voicemail or other automated systems.

To select the key tone length:
