Adjusting the Phone’s Volume Settings

To adjust the ringer,key beep,and power on/off tone volume:

1. Press to access the main menu.

2. Highlight Settingsand press .

3. Highlight Soundsand press .

4. Highlight Volumeand press .

5. Highlight Ringer Volume,Key Volume,or Power On/Offand

press .

Ringer Volumeto adjust the ringer tone volume for voice calls,

voicemail message alerts,and text/picture message alerts.

Key Volumeto adjust the ke y beep tone volume.

Power On/Offto adjust the power-on/power-off tone volume.

6. Adjust the volume with the navigation key and press .

Level 5+Vibto set the maximum ringer volume with the

vibrating alert (only appears in the Ringer Volume setting).

Level 1-5to set the volume level (1 to 5).

Vibto switch the ringer to the vibrating alert (only appears

in the Ringer Volume setting).

Offto set the tones to off.

Silence Allto mute all tones from your phone (only appears

in the Ringer Volume setting).See “Silence All” on page 36.

Note: The Vib or Level 5+Vib option will also be applied to the Scheduler, Alarm

Clock, and Countdown Timer alarms.

To adjust the earpiece and speakerphone volume:

1. Press to access the main menu.

2. Highlight Settingsand press .

3. Highlight Soundsand press .

4. Highlight Volumeand press .

5. Highlight Earpiece Volumeor Speaker Phoneand press .

6. Adjust the volume with the navigation key and press .

Tip:You can adjust the ringer volume in standby mode (or the earpiece volume

during a call) by using the volume keys on the side of your phone.
