Alert Notification

Your phone comes with several different options to keep you aware of what's going on by sounding the alert or ringer.

To set the alerts:

1.Press MENU to access the main menu.

Highlight Settings and press

OK .

3.

Highlight Sounds and press

OK .

4.

Highlight Alerts and press

OK .

5.

Highlight the alert you want to change and press OK .

Service sets the alert to notify you when the network services

parameter changes. Highlight On or Off and press OK .

Voicemail sets the duration of the voicemail message alerts. Highlight Once, 3 Sec., 5 Sec., 10 Sec., 15 Sec., or 30 Sec. and

press OK . (To set the alert off, see “Selecting a Ringer Type for Voicemail Messages” on page 33.)

Text Msg./Pic. Mail sets the duration of the text/picture message alerts. Highlight Once, 3 Sec., 5 Sec., 10 Sec., 15 Sec.,

or 30 Sec. and press OK . (To set the alert off, see “Selecting a Ringer Type for Text/Picture Messages” on page 34.)

Minute Beep sets a minute reminder that beeps each minute

during a call. Highlight On or Off and press OK .

Call Lost sets an alert to notify you when your phone loses a

signal during a call. Highlight On or Off and press OK .

Silence All

There may be times when you need to silence your phone entirely. The phone’s Silence All option allows you to mute all sounds without turning your phone off. This function also disables the vibrating alert.

To activate Silence All:

Press and hold the volume key down in standby mode. (The screen will display “Silence All.”)

To deactivate Silence All:

Press the volume key up and select a desired volume level.
