Power Socket

This is a standard 3-pin AC power socket. The power cord

 

 

from an AC source plugs in here.

Power Switch

This is a standard rocker switch that powers the unit on and

 

 

off.

External Console

For flexibility and convenience, the B020-008-17-IP supports

an external KVM console. A custom console cable set is

 

 

provided to attach the external console’s monitor, keyboard,

 

 

and mouse.

LAN Port

The cable that connects the B020-008-17-IP to a LAN, WAN,

 

 

or Internet plugs in here.

KVM Ports

The cables that link to the computers plug in here.

 

 

Note: The shape of these 15-pin connectors has been

 

 

specifically modified so that only custom KVM cables

designed to work with this switch can plug in. (See Cables, page 18, for details.) Do NOT attempt to use ordinary 15-pin VGA connector cables to link these ports to the computers.
