Working from the Remote Desktop Application

The Remote Desktop utility is integrated into the Windows XP

Professional operating system, while for Windows 9x 98/ME, 2000, and

Mac OS, the remote desktop must be set up.

For more information on installing the Remote Desktop utility on Windows 2000 and earlier, see the Spire CX250 Color Server Technical Manual (Part Number 731-00425A-EN).

Connecting from Windows

To connect to the Spire CX250 color server from your client PC:

1.From your desktop select Start>Programs>Accessories> Communications>Remote Desktop Connection.

By default, the Remote Desktop Connection dialog box opens on the

General tab.

Tip: If the tabs are not visible, click Options.
