Paper Jams

Control Panel Message	Corrective Action
	8 Slowly close the front cover. Press
	the center part of the top cover
	until it latches into place.

9 Check the Control Panel display. If the jam has been cleared and all covers are closed, the display will show Ready. If a paper jam message remains, there is still paper jammed in the printer. Refer to Table 5.1 on page 5-6 for instructions.

10 Open the multi bypass feeder by pulling the latch at the top center.

11 Push the envelope feeder all the way into the printer until it stops. Make sure it is seated securely.

12 Check the Control Panel display. If a paper jam message appears, there is still paper jammed in the printer. Refer to Table 5.1 on page 5-6for instructions.

13 Reload the envelope feeder.
