Chapter 12 Troubleshooting a Failed OpenArchitect Load

The OpenArchitect operating system is loaded from the FlashROM memory into RAM when the Ethernet Switch Blade is activated by the Shelf Manager. If there is a problem with the loading of OpenArchitect due to a hardware failure or corrupt file system, the back-up image can help to troubleshoot the condition.
