Moisture Condensation
✤If the camcorder is brought directly from a cold place to a warm place, moisture may form inside the camcorder, on the surface of the tape, or on the lens. In this condi- tion, the tape may stick to the head drum and be dam- aged or the unit may not operate correctly.
To prevent possible damage under these circumstances, the camcorder has the

)” is displayed.
If this happens, none of the functions except cassette ejection will work.
Open the cassette compartment and remove the battery for at least two hours in a warm dry room.
✤ If the DEW protection feature unex 1 pectedly activated and you want to override it: (Please make sure that
the condensation has disappeared completely.)

Kondensationsprobleme beheben
✤Wenn der Camcorder von einem kalten an einen warmen Ort gebracht wird, kann sich im Inneren des Camcorders, auf der Bandoberfläche oder auf dem Objektiv Feuchtigkeit niederschlagen. Dies kann dazu führen, dass das Band an der Kopftrommel klebt und dadurch Schäden verursacht.
Eventuell funktioniert der Camcorder auch nicht mehr ein- wandfrei. Um auf Kondensfeuchtigkeit hinzuweisen und

| Öffnen Sie dann das Kassettenfach, | |
| nehmen Sie den Akku ab und lassen | |
| Sie den Camcorder zwei Stunden |

| lang in einem warmen, trockenen |

| Raum. |

✤ Wenn Sie sicher sind, dass der |

| Camcorder vollständig trocken ist und | |
| die Warnanzeige ”DEW” trotzdem |
|
| erscheint, können Sie die Anzeige wie | |
| folgt ausschalten: |

| Camcorder ab. |

2. | Nehmen Sie die Lithiumbatterie aus | |
| dem Camcorder. |
|
3. | Setzen Sie die Lithiumbatterie wieder | |
| ein. |
|
4. | Setzen Sie den Akku wieder ein. |
