•For the best results stretch the skin to bring the hairs into an upright position.

Then move the shaving unit against the direction of the growth of the hairs.

•The trimmer has been especially designed for grooming sideburns, moustache and beard.

The trimmer is not required for long hairs in the neck area; these hairs can easily be shaved off with the shaving unit.

Charging (voltages in the range 100-240 Volt AC)

•It is advisable to charge the shaver at temperatures between 5 °C and 35° C (41 °F and 95 °F). This guarantees maximum life from the rechargeable battery.

•Keep the cassette open if you charge the appliance in it. - Slide the on/off switch (C) downwards.

- Insert the small plug firmly into the connector (E) up to the indication mark.

- Then connect to the wall socket. The green pilot light (B) will come on.

•A full charge requires approx. 1 hour.

•Regular cleaning of the shaver means that less battery energy is consumed, so that more shaving time becomes available.

•The shaver will not be damaged by leaving it connected to the mains supply after it is fully charged.

However, it is not advisable to charge the shaver permanently as this would shorten the life of the rechargeable battery.

Shaving directly from the mains

-Slide the on/off switch (C) downwards.

-Connect the appliance to a wall socket.

-Then switch the appliance on.
