To use the Battery Pack

How long will the battery last for recording?

✤Depends on how often you are likely to use the zoom feature during recording.

Recharging the Battery Pack

1. Attach the battery pack to the

camcorder.1

2. Connect the AC Power Adapter to a AC cord and plug the AC cord into a wall socket.

3. Connect the DC cable to	2
the camcorder.
4. Turn the power off on the
camcorder, and the recharging
indicator will start flashing,
indicating the battery is
charging.	4
- Flashing once a second :	OFF
the battery is less
than 50% charged.
- Flashing twice a second :
the battery is between
50% ~ 75% charged.

-Flashing three times a second : the battery is between 75% ~ 100% charged.

-Constantly stays on : Charging is complet.

-On for a second and off for a second : there is an error and the charger needs to be reset.

5.If recharging is completed, separate the camcorder, AC power adapter, and battery pack.

■ Even if the power is turned off, the battery will still discharged over time if left connected to the camera.

Note: Battery pack may be charged a little at the time of purchase.

✤Die Betriebsdauer hängt u.a. davon ab, wie häufig Sie die Zoomfunktion verwenden.

Akku aufladen

	1.	Schließ en Sie den Akku am
		Camcorder an.
	2.	Verbinden Sie den Netzadapter
		mit dem Netzanschlusskabel.
		Schließ en Sie das
		Netzanschlusskabel an eine
		Steckdose an (100 - 240 V AC,
		50/60 Hz).
3	3.	Verbinden Sie das vom
		Netzadapter kommende DC-

Kabel mit dem DC-Anschluss am Camcorder.

4. Schalten Sie den Camcorder aus; die Ladeanzeige neben dem DC-Anschluss beginnt zu blinken und der Ladevorgang beginnt.

- Blinkt einmal pro Sekunde: Der Akku ist zu weniger als 50 % geladen.

- Blinkt zweimal pro Sekunde: Der Akku ist zu 50 % bis 75 % geladen.

-Blinkt dreimal pro Sekunde: Der Akku ist zu 75% bis 100% geladen.

-Wenn die Ladeanzeige aufhört zu blinken und kontinuierlich leuchtet, ist der Ladevorgang beendet.

-Wenn die Ladeanzeige sehr langsam blinkt (eine Sekunde an und eine Sekunde aus), liegt ein Fehler vor. Lösen Sie Akku und Kabel vom Camcorder und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang ab Schritt 1. Wenn das Problem weiterhin besteht, wenden Sie sich über Ihren Fachhändler an den Kundendienst.

5.Wenn Ladevorgang beendet ist, lösen Sie Akku und Kabel vom Camcorder.

■ Auch bei ausgeschaltetem Camcorder entlädt sich der angeschlossene Akku allmählich.
