8From the TCP/IP Properties dialog box, select the IP Address tab.

9Most users need to select Obtain an IP address automatically because most LANs use dynamic IP addresses. If your LAN uses static IP addresses, enter the IP address and subnet mask. (You can obtain this information from your system administrator or ISP.)

10Select Advanced and then check the box to set TCP/IP as the default protocol.
