Configuring the NIC

This chapter describes how to configure the 3CR990-FX-97 NIC.

NOTE: Before you change the NIC configuration settings, consult your system administrator.

Default NIC Settings

The table below lists the configuration settings for the NIC. The default setting is shown in uppercase text in the Settings column.

Media Type

Determines the type of media your network is using. The Media Type is forced to a value of:

Self Healing

In BASIC mode, monitors firmware heartbeat and interrupt stalls, and tries to automatically reset
