Voice Mail

Making a Callfrom within the AltiGen Voice Mail

System

Youcan make acall, ei ther to another user’sextension numberor to an

externalphone number, using the AltiGenVoice Mail System. This can be

useful,for example, when you’re calling in from a remotelocation and

wantto respond to messages and make other calls, all on the same call into

theA ltiGen Voice Mail System.

Note: Theuse of thi sp rivilege is configurable on a per-user basis. C heck

withyour AltiServ system administrator.

Toplace acall, press#at the Main Menu, then dial thenumberor

extension.

Forexternal numbers, dial the outside line access code (e.g., 9 or 8) and any

longdistance prefix such as 1 and area code. Press *** to disconnect from

thecall and return to the AltiGen Voice Mail System.

Personal Options

Personalizeyour A ltiGen Voice Mail System by creating unique greetings

andcustomizing the system to notify you of important calls or remind you

aboutmeetings and action items.

Atthe M ain Menu, press 4for the following Personal Options:

•Password

• Message Notification

•ReminderCall

•CallForwarding

• Feature Tips

• Distribution Lists

• Log on/off IP Extension

Recording Greetings

At the Personal Options menu, press 1to record greetings, then press…
