Format
Makes the number of digits of the response variable and sets the maximum number of digits within the range of numerical values as the maximum number of digits. No space is inserted between the sign and numerical value.

A short form of a character is returned.

A string enclosed by the quotation marks (") is returned
When short and long forms are both found in the string of the corresponding command, the short form is returned.
