Using the application that created the banner, you should be able to tell whether the banner will cover three sheets or four sheets, for example. The printer prints a maximum of 20 sheets in one banner.

From a stack of Z-fold banner paper, tear off at least one sheet more than you need to print the banner.

Tear off the perforated strips, if any, and then unfold and refold the stack to make sure pages don’t stick together.

Put this edge into the paper tray first, at the top of the stack

Put the paper in the lower paper tray, with a torn edge at the top of the stack, facing lengthwise into the printer.

Slide the paper adjusters so they touch the edges of the stack of paper.
