K� Connections to Wired Com puters
Connect your wired (non -wireless) compute rs to these por ts. These
ports are RJ45, 10/100/1000 auto -negotiation, auto -uplinking por ts for
standard UTP categor y 5 or 6 Etherne t cable. The por ts are labeled 1
through 4.
l� Usb Port
Plug in your USB storage device here.
M� Connection to Modem
This port is for con nection to your ca ble or DSL modem. Use the cable
that was provided with th e modem to conne ct the modem to thi s port.
Use of a cable other tha n the one supplie d with the cable m odem may
not work properly.
N� Reset button
The “Reset” button i s used in rare ca ses when the Rou ter may function
improperly. Resetting th e Router will resto re the Router’s norm al
operation while mainta ining the program med settings. You ca n also
restore the factory de fault settings by using the “Reset ” button. Use the
restore option in insta nces where you may have forgotten your custom
password.
i� Resetting the Router
Push and release the “Reset” button. The lights on the Router will
momentarily flash. The “Power/Router” light will begin to blink. When
the “Power/Router” light be comes solid ag ain, the reset is complete.
ii� Restoring the factory Defaults
Press and hold the “Re set” button for at least 10 seconds , then
release it. The lights on the Router will momentarily fla sh. The
“Power/Router” light will b egin to blink. Whe n the “Power/Router”
light becomes solid a gain, the restore i s complete.

Connect the included 15V/1.25A DC power supply to thi s jack.

P� “Reconnect” but ton
The “Reconnect” but ton provides a
simple way to alleviate wir eless and
Internet-connection dif ficulties. Upo n
pushing this button, th e Router will
automatically scan and set itself on the
cleanest channel, tur n on high-speed
mode (20/40MHz mode), and rene gotiate
your connection with you r ISP (Internet
Service Provider). Ple ase note that any
devices connected to th e Router will be
intermittently disconn ected while the
Router performs thes e tasks.
Common issues that “Reconnect” will fix:
• Sloworinconsistentdow nload
speeds due to interfe rences from othe r
devices on the 2.4GHz band.
• LostInternetconnect ion,whichcan
be caused by problems with the ISP or
modem. Please also res et your modem
before using “Reconne ct” to regain
connection to your ISP.
