Using your Internet brows er, you can access t he Router’s Web-Base d
Advanced User Interfa ce. In your browser, t ype “192.168.2.1” (do not
type in anything els e such as “http://” o r “www”). Then press the “Enter ”
key.
logging into the Router
You will see the Router’s home page in your brows er window. The home
page is visible to any user who want s to see it. To make any changes
to the Router’s settings, y ou have to log in. Cli cking the “Login” button
or clicking on any one o f the links on the home page will take you to the
login screen. The Rou ter ships with no p assword entered. I n the login
screen, leave the passwo rd blank and clic k the “Submit” bu tton to log in.
logging out of the Router
One computer at a time can log into the Ro uter for the purpo ses of
making changes to the s ettings of the Ro uter. Once a user ha s logged in
to make changes, there a re two ways that the computer can be logged
out. Clicking the “Logo ut” button will log the computer o ut. The second
method is automatic. The login will time ou t after a speci fied period of
time. The default login time-out is 10 minu tes. This can be changed from
one to 99 minutes. For mo re information, se e the section in this manual
titled “Changing the Lo gin Time-Out Se tting”.
