Manually Configuring Network settings in Windows 2000, NT, or XP
1� Click “Start”, “Setting s”, then “Control Panel ”.
2� Double-click on the “Net work and dial-up connections” ic on
(Windows 2000) or the “Network” icon (Windows XP).
3� Right-click on the “Local Area Connection” associated with your
network adapter and se lect “Properti es” from the drop -down
menu.
4� In the “Local Area Conne ction Propertie s” window, click “Inte rnet
Protocol (TCP/IP)” and click the “Propertie s” button. The foll owing
screen will appear:

5� If “Use the following IP addr ess” (2) is selecte d, your Router will
need to be set up for a static IP connec tion type. Write th e address
information the table b elow. You will need to ente r this information
into the Router.
6� If not already selected, s elect “Obtain a n IP address autom atically”
(1) and “Obtain DNS se rver address au tomatically” (3). Click “OK”.
