4.4USING THE RESET BUTTON

The RESET button shown in Figure 4-3resets the 2E4X-27 processor without affecting the NVRAM.

Pressing the RESET button resets the device, and all current

!switching being performed by the device is halted. A network

CAUTION downtime of up to two minutes will result from this action.

To reset the 2E4X-27 processor, use a pen or pencil to press and release the RESET button. The 2E4X-27 goes through a reset process for approximately 45 seconds.
