AUSM-8T1/E1 LED Indica tors
AUSM-8T1/E1 LED indicators are described in Table 4-2. Al l LEDs are located on the faceplate of the
front card.

Type of LED Color Description
ACT Green On indicates the card set is in ac tive mo d e.
STBY Yellow Slow blink without the Active LED ind ic a te s th e car d is i n th e
boot state.
Fast blink with the Standby L E D in d ica tes th e c ard is being
downloaded.
Fast blink indicates the service module is pass ing BRAM channel
information to the ASC.
Steady yellow indicates th e card is in Standby mod e and the
firmware is executing ADMIN code.
FAIL Red Steady Red with Active and Standby LEDs of f indica tes ei ther t he
card is in the Reset condition, the card has failed, or the card set
is not complete (no line module).
Steady Red with Active LED on in di cat es t he ca rd w as a ctive
prior to failing.
Steady Red with Standby LED on indi cates the card was standby
prior to failing.
PORT Green Green indicates the port is act ive.
Red Red indicates a local alarm on th e po r t.
Yellow Yellow indicates a remote alarm on the port.
Off indicates the port has not been activated (upped).
