Chapter TFTP User Interface
Save TFTP Command Format
This mechanism allows copying a F R S M co nfigu r at io n file (saved on the PCMCIA hard drive) to a
network file system using a TFTP file command.
TFTP file name format
AXIS_SM_1_ slot number.PRI. service user password
TFTP client operation
<UNIX prompt> tftp AXIS ip address
> bin
> get AXIS_SM_1_5.PRI.serviceuser
For example, the command get AXIS_SM_1_5.PRI.serviceuser saves the configuration file for the
service module in slot 5 by r ead in g th e FRSM 5 configuration sto re d in th e PCMICIA hard drive.
Restore TFTP Command Fo rmat
This mechanism allows the user t o co py a FR SM configuration file from a netw o rk fil e s y st em t o th e
corresponding FRS M configuration file on A SC PCMCIA hard dr ive.
FTP file name format
AXIS_SM_1_ slot number .PRI. service user password
TFTP client operation
<UNIX prompt> tftp AXIS address
> bin
> put network file name AXIS_SM_1_5.PRI.serviceuser
This will restore the FRSM 5 configuration.
For example, put AXIS_SM_1_5.PRI.serviceuser places the configuration file ont o th e s e rv ic e
module in slot 5.
Note The uploaded file is a binary file.
Note You will lose some configuration changes if they are made after the back-up was performed.
The configuration file c ontains feature information. If th ey do not match the feature information on
the FRSM, the FRSM goes in to mi s mat ch s ta te.
