Connect two T3 coaxial cables b et w een t he T3 B NC connectors on the MGX 8220 B N M li ne m o du l e
card and the T3 BNC connector s o n th e B PX BNI line module. The trans mit po r t on th e BP X l ine
module and the receive port on the MGX 8220 BNM line module must connect to each other. (See
Figure7-22.)

If redundant BNM cards are being used, use Y-cable adapters as shown in Figure7-23. It is
recommended that specially desig n ed s h ort T3 or E 3 Y-cables be pur ch ase d from Cisco.
