Checking the Alarms on a ds1 Line
On the sample display shown abo ve, l ine n umbe r 1, 2, 3 , 4 are out of al ar m. Li nes 5, 6, 7, 8 are i n ala rm.
Enter the following command on th e com ma nd li ne at IMATM prompt to check the alarm on ds1 li ne#6:
AXIS18.1.9.IMATM.a > dspalm -ds1 6

To check the Out of Frames, the number of RAIs and so on, enter the following command on the
command line:

Always clear up all the alarms be for e c hecking up for dspalmcnt. To clear up all the alarms e nt er th e

AXIS18.1.9.IMATM.a > clralmcnt -ds1 1 1
dspaimlncnt "AIM_GRP_NO LINE_NO"
This command will display any HEC er rore d c ell rece i v ed on a part ic ula r li ne (wh ich i s pa rt of the AIM
group).
Clearing Any Alarms Related to ds3
Make sure the ds3 is out of alarm . There should not be any alarms. To display the ds3 alarms, enter the
following command on t he command line:
AXIS18.1.9.IMATM.a > dspalm -ds3 1
