Making the Service Interface Connections
The customer data is connected to the MGX 8220 shelf through T1, E1, X.21, or HHSI lines.
Service lines using DB15 and RJ-48 connectors need only one cable per port. Service lines using BNC
or SMB connectors require two c ables (one transmit and one receive) fro m the E1 port of the customer
equipment to on E1 p o rt o n an MGX 8220 line mo du le .
