To see your location on a map
On the Maps screen, touch the Menu button 
→My Location. Your location is marked on the map with a blinking blue dot.

2To search by typing:
a Type the place you want to find into the search box. You can enter an address, a city or country, or a type of business or organization such “restaurant” or “school”.
