Power and Control Sub-Rack

HRMG Ground Connection

(HRMG Configurations Only)

(MUST BE PROPERLY

CONNECTED TO GROUND)

A lead exits the rear of the power and control sub-rack in a High Resistance Midpoint Ground (HRMG) configuration. This lead MUST be connected directly to ground for proper operation of the mid-point grounding circuit and the ground fault detection circuit. This lead is 16 AWG, approximately

100” long, and terminated in a ring lug with a 1/4” clearance hole.
