Installing the Optional Cable Management Kit
Note: The cable management assemblies must be removed to install fan trays.
To install the Cable Management Kit, proceed as follows:
1.Unpack the top and bottom cable management assemblies from the shipping box. Examine each assembly. If either assembly is damaged, contact Enterasys Networks for instructions.
2.Remove one or both of the chassis bezels (panels with logo) by loosening the two captive screws attaching each bezel to the chassis. See Figure 3‐33, which shows the location of the two captive screws on the bottom chassis bezel.
Note: Removing both chassis bezels is not required. Installing only one of the cable management assemblies may be sufficient to bundle and secure your cables.
3.Replace the removed chassis bezel or bezels with one or both cable management assemblies. Attach each assembly to the chassis by tightening the two captive screws on the base panel of the assembly.
