TCP/IP SETUP menu setting

To connect the DV824 [ETHERNET] port to a PC. make settings of the "TCP/IP SETUP" menu in the MENU mode appropriately. See below for details of how to make "TCP/IP SETUP" menu settings.

1)While the unit is stopped, press the [ENTER/YES] key to enter the MENU mode.

2)Use the [MENU] dial to select "TCP/IP SETUP" and press the [ENTER/YES] key.

The display now shows the screen for selecting the menu item.

3)Use the [MENU] dial to select a desired menu item and press the [ENTER/YES] key.

You can now edit the menu item (see below for details).

• IP address setting

The "IP Address" menu item sets the IP Address on DV824.

By selecting "IP Address" and pressing the [ENTER/YES] key, the current IP address is shown (by default, "192. 168. 1. 188.").

By pressing the [ENTER/YES] key again, the leftmost three-digit number starts flashing. You can now enter the desired value using the [MENU] dial (or alphanumeric keys),

while you can move the cursor using the [SKIP/CURSOR ] key.

After completing editing, press the [ENTER/YES] key to confirm the setting.

• Sub net mask setting

The "Sub net mask" item sets the sub net mask value in the network DV824 exists. In the case the Sub net mask is not used, you do not have to set this value.

By selecting "Sub net mask" and pressing the [ENTER/YES] key, the current Sub net mask is shown (by default, "255. 255. 255. 0.").

By pressing the [ENTER/YES] key again, the leftmost three-digit number starts flashing. You can now enter the desired value using the [MENU] dial (or alphanumeric keys),

while you can move the cursor using the [SKIP/CURSOR ] key.

After completing editing, press the [ENTER/YES] key to confirm the setting.
