File transfer example between the DV824 and a PC

The following shows the procedure example of transfer an audio file using the "WS FTP" Windows FTP client application (see the instructions of the FTP application for details).

1)Start up the "WS FTP" application.

The "Session Properties" dialog box in which current settings such as "IP address" are shown appears.

2)Click on "OK" in the "Session Properties" dialog box.

You can now see the DV824 drive (and the partitions of the optional hard disk drive if it is installed) in the right window, as below.

Select Binary or Auto.

3)Click on the desired drive.

In the window example below, partition (PT1) of the optional hard disk opens and the “bwff” folder is shown.
