You can select between "US" and "JAPAN" (the default is "US").

 

 

US

A US keyboard can be connected. This is the default.

 

 

JAPAN

A Japanese keyboard can be connected.

 

 

Use the [MENU] dial to select the desired option and press the [ENTER/YES] key to confirm your setting. Press the [STOP/HOME] key to exit the MENU mode.

Startup disk selection [Startup disk]

The "Startup disk" menu item selects the medium started up when turning on the power. The setting is stored to the Flash ROM of the unit. If the optional hard disk drive is installed, you can also select a hard disk partition.

Select the "Startup disk" menu item and press the [ENTER/YES] key.

The current setting starts flashing and you can now select the desired option.

You can select from among "DVD", "AUTO" and "PT01" through "PT08" (the default is "DVD").

DVD

Starts up with the DVD-RAM drive.

 

 

AUTO

Starts up with a drive (or partition) selected when turning off the power last time.

 

 

PT01 ~ PT08

Starts up with the selected hard disk partition (only available when the optional hard

 

disk drive is fitted to the unit).

 

 

<Note>: "PT01" through "PT08" (hard disk partitions) and “AUTO” can be selected only when the optional hard disk drive (Model 9057) is installed.

ROM version checking [Version]

Selecting "Version" allows you to view the software ROM version number and creation/revi- sion date.

Select the "Version" menu item and press the [ENTER/YES] key.

The current setting starts flashing and you can now select the desired option.

To exit the MENU mode, press the [STOP/HOME] key.
