Creating and Viewing Preset Positions

A Preset Position is a user-defined location where the camera can be pointed, zoomed in, and focused. Preset positions can be defined and labeled if the camera supports this.

Creating a Preset

1.Inside Setup, click the PTZ tab and select a camera from the Channel list.

2.Select the Pan/Tilt Connection check box and select the appropriate PTZ protocol.

3.Under PTZ Status on Close, click Controller to open the PTZ graphical gontroller.

4.In the Preset box, select a Preset from the list to modify (a red box will appear around the Preset).

5.Use the controls on the Graphical Controller to move the selected camera to the desired position.
