The stand is secured with four Torx screws. You must remove the rear cover to remove the stand. To remove the stand:
1.Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparing to disassemble the computer on page 18).
2.Remove the rear cover (see Rear cover on page 19).
3.On the side of the rear cover, in the order stamped into the stand, remove the four Torx screws that secure the stand to the rear cover (1).
4.Remove the stand from the rear cover (2).
To replace the stand, reverse the removal procedures.
