Configuration

Configuring the X.25 Link

Enter or modify field values as required (refer to the field descriptions below).

Table 3-7	Switched VC Flow Control Field Descriptions

	Default Packet	Maximum packet size to be used over an SVC.
	Size: Inbound &	The range is 16 through 4096 octets. The default
	Outbound	is 128 for inbound and outbound packets. Use the
		value given on your subscription form.

	Default Window	Maximum number of default packets that can be
	Size: Inbound &	transmitted without acknowledgment over an
	Outbound	SVC. The range is 1 through 7 for Modulo-8, and
		1 through 127 for Modulo-128. (We recommend a
		value greater than 7 for Modulo-128). The default
		is 2 for inbound and outbound transmission. Use
		the value given on your subscription form.

	Negotiated	Maximum packet size to be used over an SVC.
	Packet Size:	The range is 16 through 4096 octets. The default
	Inbound &	is 128 for inbound and outbound packets.
	Outbound

	Negotiated	Maximum number of default packets that can be
