Your device allows you to wirelessly connect to the Internet, and with Sprint data services, you have access to a dynamic variety of data services you will really use. Data services such as Web browsing, email, instant messaging, and RSS feeds let you have fun, stay in touch, and stay informed no matter where you go on the Nationwide Sprint Network, on a CDMA roaming network, or on a GSM international network when traveling in other countries.

Ways of Connecting to the Internet

Your device’s networking capabilities allow you to wirelessly access the Internet or your corporate network through one of the following connections:

Wi-Fi (see “Connecting via Wi-Fi” on page 141)

Data Services (see “Getting Started With Data Services” on page 142)

Note

You can also add and set up the following connections:

Dial-up:A Dial-up connection is used to dial up to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and connect to the Internet or to your corporate network. To set up a dial-up connection, tap Start > Settings > All Settings >

Connections tab , tap Connections, and then tap Add a new modem connection. To get help instructions, tap and refer to the Help.

VPN: A VPN connection is used to access your corporate network by using an existing Internet connection. For information about setting up a VPN connection, see the Set Up Your Email guide.

Proxy: A Proxy connection is used to access the Internet using an existing connection to your corporate or

WAP network. To set up a proxy connection, tap Start > Settings > All Settings > Connections tab , tap Connections, and then tap Set up my proxy server. To get help instructions, tap and search for the word proxy in Help.
