5. If any POST errors appear

after

POST,

make

a note

of

the

errors and

press

theEsc

key.

A message will display on the screen saying that due to disk space

constraints,

no

mouse

driver

has been included in the diskette. One is

available

on

the

Diagnostics

and Utilities

CD

(MOUSE.COM

file).

6.

Press any key to manually invoke the advanced diagnostics. The

advanced

diagnostics

will now

check

out

the

system.

7.

Select

an

option

from

the

advancedMaindiagnosticsMenu .

8.

Follow

the

instructions

that

appear on your screen. If an error occurs,

go to “Index of Symptoms,

Messages,

Error Codes,

or

Beeps”

on

page 2-9.
