The diagnostic information contains the check procedures you use to diagnose and isolate product failures. Diagnostic information consists of:

This is the starting point for any diagnostic action. Based on high-level symptoms, the information in this check procedure directs you to more detailed procedures to help you resolve the machine failure.

The Index of Symptoms, Messages, Error Codes,

symptoms and their probable causes, and directs

you

machine failure. The

which

FRU

is

the likely

cause

of

the

problem.

When the Start check procedure sends you to a specific check

turn

that

section

and

perform

the

steps

instructed. If

there

notes

or instructions at the top

of

the

page,

read them

Carefully read each step of the check procedure and perform the

appropriate

action

as

instructed. If

you

do

not

remember

the

location

of

 

a

specific

part

or test point, or if you do not remember an

adjustment or removal procedure, see the chapter with that

procedure

after

you

do

this.
